Jr. Sports League – Winter Session Overview

Our Jr. Sports League Winter Session introduces children to the excitement of winter sports in a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate way. Each week, young athletes explore movement, balance, coordination, and teamwork through activities inspired by winter classics such as hockey, ice skating fundamentals (on-floor), curling, snowshoe–style obstacle courses, and winter-themed relay games.

Children rotate through hands-on skill stations, participate in playful mini-games, and build confidence while trying new winter sport challenges tailored to their age. Coaches use a supportive, growth-mindset approach to help every child stay active, learn foundational sports skills, and have fun—no ice, skates, or special equipment required.

Our goal is to keep kids moving, engaged, and excited about physical activity throughout the colder months, while giving them a memorable introduction to the world of winter sports.
